Meet the pastor
Anthony Baumann has been in ministry for over 20 years. When he was just 2 years old, he started traveling with his family all over the Southeast singing Southern Gospel music. That’s where everything got started. Anthony has been licensed with the Congregational Holiness Church, Inc. for over 8 years and has seen God do many miraculous things. Anthony believes:

Anthony and his wife, Kirstie, have a 2 boys named Isaiah and Micah. Anthony and Kirstie have been local to Odenville most of their life and have loved serving their community on local Chamber of Commerces, Food Drives, Non-Profit Boards, and more. They have a heart for the communities they serve.

Anthony was one of the founding members of Rhema Worship Center when it started in 2013. He has been a minister in the church ever since. In 2021, Anthony became Senior Pastor of Rhema Worship Center.

Walk in freedom
When you know God, you’ll know what true freedom is. We believe that you do not have to struggle with the past or fight to get through a day. We believe in FREEDOM. If Jesus has set you free, then you are FREE INDEED. (John 8:36)
Freedom is not about what you’re coming from, it’s about who you are running to.
Serve Others
We want to serve others by showing God’s love in practical ways through meeting the needs within our communities and spheres of influence. Simple acts of personal kindness can open hearts to the love of Jesus for both those being served and those serving.
The privilege to lead is rooted in the willingness to serve.
Equip Leaders
Equipping people is not an option. We believe it is a mandate for the church. We believe in equipping people for callings they don’t may not yet know and works bigger than themselves. Rhema exists to send out people to create new works and change the World.
Leaders are followers in training.
Common Questions
What is a typical service like?
A typical service at Rhema Worship Center is approximately 60 minutes long. We will start at 11 am with a welcome. If you are a guest, don’t worry, we will not single you out or bug you. We will worship for about 2-5 songs and then you will hear a relevant message from our Pastor or one of our ministers.
What do you offer for my children?
We believe that we are not babysitters, we are life-givers! Our background-checked ministry teams will take great care of your children. They will worship with us in the main service and then they will break off with their age group and enjoy a hands-on lesson, craft, and a snack. Then you will check them out at the end of our main service. Our Children’s services are so great… you’ll probably get jealous.
What should I wear?
We are a “come as you are” kind of church. You’ll see some in blue jeans and some in dresses. Wear what is comfortable to you. We don’t care what you wear, just so long as you’re there!
What times are your services?
Sunday Morning Small Groups: 10 am (These are broken up for Women’s, Men’s, Teen’s, Children’s, and Nursery Groups.)
Sunday Worship: 11 am
Wednesday Night Bible Study: 7 pm
